The Canadian Economic Association presented the Harry Johnson award for the best article published in 2002 in Canadian Economic Revue to Robin Boadway, Nicolas Marceau and Steeve Mongrain for their article titled "Joint Tax Evasion".
Pierre Lefebvre and Philip Merrigan were given an honorable mention for their article "The Effect of Childcare and Early Education Arrangements on Developmental Outcomes of Young Children" published in Canadian Public Policy.
